New-build programmes in Haute-Savoie: a developer based in Bonne (74)
As a property developer, MYK Construction Promotion designs and develops property operations in Haute-Savoie, drawing on its knowledge of the area and its specific features. The developer is the party that carries the operation: it identifies the land, studies feasibility, defines the programme, obtains the planning permits, organises construction and sells the homes.
Our operations are on a human scale. The projects shown on the Projects page include Chevilly in Excenevex, a programme of semi-detached villas near Lake Geneva, and Peillonnex, the renovation and extension of an old farmhouse to create 5 homes, both ongoing in 2026-2027.
The steps of a development operation
- Finding and analysing land: location, access, utilities, local plan rules, surroundings.
- Feasibility study: number and type of homes possible, layout, parking, green space.
- Designing the programme with architects and engineering consultants.
- Applying for and obtaining the building permit (or development permit, depending on the operation).
- Sales, including off-plan sales (VEFA) where applicable.
- Construction, site supervision, acceptance and handover of the homes.
Buying a new home off plan (VEFA)
In a French off-plan sale (vente en l'état futur d'achèvement, VEFA), the buyer purchases a home before or during its construction. The contract, signed before a notary, describes the home, the timeline and the payment schedule, which follows the progress of the works within a framework set by law. Guarantees protect the buyer, including the completion guarantee and the construction guarantees after handover.
Our article on VEFA explains the steps, payments and guarantees. To find out which homes are available in a programme, the MYK team will answer you via the Contact page.
Landowners and project owners
Do you own land or an old building in Haute-Savoie and wonder about its potential? A development operation may sometimes be possible: dividing the land, building several homes, or renovating and extending an existing building. Each situation depends on the planning rules and the features of the site.
We study these projects case by case, with the same high standards whatever their size, and give you a clear view of what can be done.
A local approach
The property market in Haute-Savoie, and in particular in the French Genevois and the Chablais, has its own realities: proximity to Geneva, many cross-border commuters, towns with demanding local plans and high expectations on quality and how buildings fit into their setting. Being based in Bonne lets us follow our operations closely and stay available to our clients.
